As for me - YES. But we shouldn't believe every commercial seen on TV ;)
So I have browsed a lot of forums and asked people who used them or have in mind to bought. As result, most people say few common things:

You can get the extra deep push, it is raised 6 inches so you get the extra deepness as well.
Push ups is one of the oldest and effective exercises of all time. They develop the pectoral muscles and triceps, with ancillary benefits to the deltoids, serratus anterior, coracobrachialis and the midsection as a whole. There are 19 (!!!) different variations of basic push up. Do you know and do all of them? As for me - no, I think you either. Sliding helps you to involve more groups of muscles in doing push ups, and extra deepness because of they are raised makes your push ups more effective.
