NordicTrack Viewpoint Treadmill

Each year NordicTrack seems to be coming out with more and more newer treadmills that are characterized by some exclusive options.  The new addition to their list is the NordicTrack Viewpoint treadmill which has a display console with an in-built LCD TV. 

I will not even get into reviewing the Viewpoint treadmill.  You might wonder why, read further.  I would only like to inform you that you should remove this model from your list as soon as possible.  Yes, you heard it right!  The Viewpoint is not a treadmill worth considering. 

Though it’s a good idea to have a built-in TV in the display console but the mistake made by NordicTrack was that it made the Viewpoint treadmill pack too many things in it and at the same time offered it on a small budget. 

It is not possible that you stuff so much onto a treadmill and at the same time keep the price so low.  Definitely on the machine there are corners cut somewhere else. 

If you are offered the amazing feature of a TV on your treadmill would you compromise the more important qualities like good rollers, heavy flywheel or a sturdy motor? 

I would never! 

Let me put it this way – Would you go in for a car that has a superb DVD navigation set-up but none of the other qualities that cars must have? 

I am sure there would be some people who would disregard the basic qualities but such people lose a lot in the long run.  Do not go in for the Viewpoint, instead opt for a good quality machine such as the Sole F63.  You could use the left over money for buying a good LCD TV that you can mount it on your wall.  All this with for the same money!
